Guestbook

Share your favorite Stuckey’s memory! Our guestbook is your opportunity to share those experiences with others.

Just about everybody has a Stuckey‘s story, recalling a time when they took road trips in the family station wagon and found “highway happiness” at one of our stores.

We would love to hear your most fond memories from yesterday or today, and we know others would love to share in your experiences as well. Please take a moment or two and post your comments in our guestbook.

Growing up in northern Ohio in the late 1950s - early '60s, every summer we would make the then18 hour drive to southern KY to visit relatives. The interstate highways were still under construction so each year would be a journey of hop-on for awhile, then off to old 2-lane roads, then on to another stretch of interstate(the same drive can now be made in about 7 1/2 hours). My brother and I quickly learned to look for the peaked roofs at the exits and we'd yell "STUCKEYS!!!". We'd stop, stretch, and shop. What I remember most were the bagged... Read more

What I remember most were the bagged candies and the wonderful, tacky wooden souvenirs: outhouses, ashtrays and figures. We had a number at one time, sadly gone over the years. Thanks for the memories!... Collapse

In the 70’s our family would drive from California to Michigan along Hwy80 and my dad (rest his soul) would always make stops at Stuckey’s in Nebraska and Iowa. We LOVED those pecan log/rolls!!! I’m in Iowa right now and so sad that there aren’t any roadside Stuckey’s!

3/29/25 Today I stopped at an estate sale and found an old Stuckey's candy tin. I knew immediately I had to have it! Stuckey's gave me my first job when I was 13 or 14. Yes back in the 60's you could work at that age. I shared with the Ladies in charge of the sale my story and we all tripped down memory lane. We all had a favorite memory of Stuckey's and our childhood. So grateful Stephanie Stuckey is trying to bring her family's legacy back again so future generations can experience it's unique childhood treasures.

I can remember seeing billboards for Stuckey’s and seeing the stores from the outside on family trips many, many years ago but sadly we never stopped. That’s just something my dad never did. Reading all these letters from everyone makes me realize what I missed. The pecan log rolls sound delicious. Maybe one day I’ll see another Stuckey’s store. I guarantee I’ll stop and go inside and buy a log roll. Better late than never, I guess.

Growing up in Eastman we always toured the candy plant! Our local store was our Sunday afternoon treat. Talking parrot was our first stop….the Stuckey family was very down to earth and offered the locals opportunities to own Stuckey franchises across the US

My sister and I were raised in stuckeys stores. My mom became a a manager when I was in 3rd grade and worked for them until after I graduated. Getting to meet all the people was our favorite part. Then I continued to work for them another 3 years. It was a good life.

I have fond memories of traveling with my parents and stopping at some of the Stuckey's that we would come to. I have a question to ask, I wanted to know if my memory serves me right, did you sell pecan divinity??

Back in the 70's my parents and I would head out to somewhere new in our travel trailer and would stop at a Stuckey's in every different state we could, and I would get a pennant from that state. Still have them hanging in my man cave. Great memories!

When I was a child my family would drive to Florida once a year. My dad would stop at all the Stuckeys on the way and buy me a pecan roll. I loved them! Recently I drove to Florida with my daughter and was so happy to find a Stuckeys in Georgia. We stopped and I bought a bunch of pecan rolls. Now I’m back home in Pennsylvania and was so happy to find a Stuckeys website. I ordered 12 pecan rolls I’m thankful for Stuckeys! 🤗 LuAnn Schwab

Thanks for reaching out! We always appreciate hearing memories of Stuckey's. We no longer offer these types of items. They were definetely fun back when we were a kitschy roadside brand but these days our focus is on manufacturing delicious pecan snacks! We hope you will enhoy our new direction and thank you for your continued support of Stuckey's.

When I was little, we would travel to my grandparents in Jackson, MS, always with a stop at Stuckey's. One time I got so excited that I said, "Dad, Dad! Can we stuck at Stoppeys?". Great memories of Stuckey's!

My son gave me a 16 oz bag of large pecans for Christmas. They were totally the best I have tasted. I toasted some in butter and salted and covered with chocolate. So yummy. Thank you for the best tasting pecans.

What a blast from the past! Yall woke up some fond childhood memories when Paul,Tim and the good day Atlanta was there. Every year headed to and from Florida we would have to stop. I was a pecan " pah-con" addict. To this day!!!! Welcome back, wishing you the best for success. I will probably be ordering some Valentines day candy, and some throughout the year, but definitely there are some people on my CHRISTMAS list that will be getting some awesome goodies.

I'm old enough to remember dirt parking lots and screen doors that slapped shut behind you as you entered. I frequent one in Doolittle, Missouri, when my route allows me too. My great grandfather did business with Mr. Stuckey himself. Mr Stuckey sold him hogs that he raised and sold back to him for ham and bacon at some of his early locations in East Tennessee. I'm glad to see Stuckey's making a comeback along the highways.
