Candy Everybody Wants

At this time of year,  as we say goodbye to one year and welcome in the next, we reflect on 2021 and all that Stuckey’s has accomplished so far in the last couple of years in bringing back America’s favorite roadside stop.

One of the things that we’re most proud of accomplishing over the past year is the 2021-2022 Stuckey’s Gift Catalog. It’s the first gift catalog that Stuckey’s has produced since the early 1960’s. Therefore, it only made sense that we go back in time for inspiration in creating our catalogue’s newest incarnation.

Everything Old…

Back in the day, the Stuckey’s Gift Catalog was exotic, full of tropical jellies and rum-soaked coconut candies alongside Stuckey’s favorites: pecan halves, mixed nuts,  Sugared and Spiced pecans, pecan pralines, and of course – Ethel Stuckey’s legendary pecan log roll that made the Stuckey’s name so famous. Back then you could also get traditional “Southern Delicacies” and epicurean delights like cornmeal, grits, and assorted crackers and cheeses. You could even order a smoked Turkey shipped straight from Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.

…is New Again!

When designing our new catalog, we decided we wanted to keep that retro feel of the old Stuckey’s catalogs, but focus less on exotic jellies and smoked turkeys, and more on our nuts and candies. After all, another one of our big accomplishments was acquiring our own candy making and nut processing  factory in Wrens, GA and once again making our own candy and nuts after nearly 60 years of having someone else do it for us.

What’s more, we also teamed up with The Orchards, another family-owned, tried-and-true American brand based in the South to bring you the most delicious nuts, treats, and gifts under one banner. This means that, although you might miss those sacks of grits and cornmeal, you don’t have to worry about giving up every Southern delicacy as all of our candy is made in Georgia with Georgia grown pecans.

Nowadays, you can still find some of your old favorites like our world famous Stuckey’s Pecan Log Roll and Pecan Pralines. For those who like something a bit more tropical, our Coconutties – creamy coconut dipped in milk chocolate and topped off with a pecan half – are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

We also decided to forgo some of the exotic Mexican hampers and “royal” shapes and offer a wider variety of colorful old-school themed gift boxes and gift tins that you’re sure to treasure long after the treats are gone.
