The year was 1984 and I was driving across country with my future husband from Boston to San Francisco, where we were relocating. We stopped in Las Vegas for the evening and continued on at 5AM. Not too far outside of Vegas on Highway 15, we stopped for breakfast at Stuckey's. Can anyone tell me where it was?

Loved stopping at Stuckey's when making annual vacation trip with family from Michigan to Georgia in the 1950's-1960's. Favorite treats were dark chocolate covered coconut patties and pecan divinity. YUM! Congratulations on your success.

I was born in Eastman, Georgia and attended grade school and high school at Peabody in Eastman. I picked pecans for Stuckey's orchards. That is one of my best memories from my childhood. I think I ate more pecans than I picked. Stuckey's family thanks for being there. I took the money I made and bought school shoes. To this day I still love your Pecan rolls....... aka Constance Henley-Taylor-Blum.

I used to work at the Stuckey Store in Boulogne, Fl. For those that don't know, it is on US 1, just as you cross the Florida/Georgia line.
I loved meeting the people that stopped in. I would see most of them twice a year, some more. I loved it so much when I got married my husband and I went to work managing a store in Verbina, Al. Need less to say we loved the candy and still do. There just isn't very many around here now.
